There is speculation that the 2016 Acura RDX may be getting a new engine from the Earth Dream’s family mostly used for the Honda Accord. The 3.5-L V6 engine with an output of 273-hp and 251 lb-ft of torque is anticipated to bring in more power and improve the vehicle’s fuel efficiency. The current FWD model stops at 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway while the AWD stops at 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway and therefore an improvement is expected with the installation of this new engine.
